Wycombe Wanderers pulled off another stunning comeback to claim an unlikely victory over play-off chasing Doncaster Rovers.
Coming into the game, the Chairboys had scored the most amount of goals in the final 15 minutes of EFL1 matches so far this season and they added three more to that tally with a magnificent turnaround from two goals down.
The frustrated Doncaster manager Grant McCann called his team “arrogant” for allowing the points to slip away whilst a relieved Gareth Ainsworth spoke to me live on BBC Three Counties Radio. Here is what he had to say:
“I’m an emotional guy and I run on emotions, I could of broke down when the winner went in”
Wycombe Wanderers equaled a club Football League record with their six consecutive win at Adams Park with an impressive victory over Barnsley. After the game, I spoke with Chairboys midfielder Dom Gape:
Gape: “We are giving ourselves a chance in every single game”
