Wycombe Wanderers have made their first signing of the January transfer window by securing Luke Bolton on loan from Manchester City for the rest of the season.
Bolton is a product of the Manchester City academy and has been described as a “versatile, attacking forward”.
The 19 year old was named on the bench for the 1-0 win away to Burton Albion in the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg and was included in the Citizens 2018/19 summer tour to the US.
Speaking about the signing, Chairboys manager Gareth Ainsworth said: “He’s a fantastic talent very very quick, very direct and very skilful.
“I’m hoping for excitement and goals and Luke will fit right into the group.
“There were some bigger clubs in for him and for once money didn’t come into it.”
